Canada's role in World War 2 
Canadian Virtual War Memorial     
Features a multimedia database with digital images.  The Records & Collections area provides information on medals, decorations, war Art, Remembrance Day posters, prose, poetry, and songs.  The History area provides links to annotated sites on World War 1, World War 2, the Korean War, and Native soldiers.  There is a focus on diaries and letters or individuals, rather than a more global perspective.  Available in English and French.

Canadian Military history Gateway     
This extensive Canadian site is organized by the following topics: General resources, Aerial operations, Arts & literature, Atomic bomb, Biographies, Campaigns & battles, Cryptography, Holocaust, Propaganda, Naval operations, Personal narratives, Prisoners of war, Tanks, War criminals, Women & the war, etc.

Canada Remembers  (Veterans Affairs)
Features diaries and letters from Canadian soldiers and citizens presenting a very personal view of World War II.  Includes all the major battles fought by Canadian soldiers.  Maintained by Veterans Affairs Canada and includes links to related sites.  Available in English and French.

Japanese Canadian Internment
