Theatre history on the Web
A gateway site for all kinds of theatre history.  Organized by time period.  Topics include: Classical, Medieval & Renaissance, Elizabethan, 17th Century, 18th Century,  19th Century, Contemporary, and Non-Western.  Features links to museums and multitudes of other theatre resources.

Theatre History
A gateway site for theatre history around the world and through time.  Topics include: Origins of theatre, Ancient theatre, Medieval theatre, American, Asian, British, French, German, Irish, Italian, Russian, and Spanish theatre.  Features an article on Greek and Roman comedy.  Links to online texts of plays.

The Wild Wonderful World of Theatre History
Another gateway site.  Topics include: Origins of theatre; Theatre and drama in Ancient Greece; Roman and Byzantine theatre; European drama in the Middle Ages;  Italian theatre and drama; English theatre, Middles Ages to 1642; Spanish theatre to 1700; Theatre in France, 1500-1700;  Theatre of the Orient; Englsih theatre, 1642-1800; Italy & France, 18th century; Modern theatre, 1875-1915; etc.
