A Shi’ite encyclopedia
This specialized encyclopedia about Islam presents a definite Sunni bias. The scholarly nature of this site makes it appropriate for senior courses only.

Provides information on the history, basic beliefs, teachings, practices and culture of the Mormons, or Church of the Latter Day Saints. Inlcudes links to related sites.
Orthodox Christian Page
Provides good introductory information for Orthodoxy. Includes information of their liturgy, prayers, readings, icons, sacred writings, etc.
Stories of Krishna: The Adventures of Hindu God
"Who is Krishna? Why is he blue? And why do women find him so attractive? ... This interactive web site allows you to explore a selection of the paintings featured in the exhibition 'Painted Visions from India and Pakistan, Past and Present.'" Wesak (Buddha Day) -- First Full Moon in May
"Wesak or Vesak, also known as Buddha Day, celebrates the Buddha's birthday, enlightenment and death. It is the most important day in the Buddhist calendar. In Japanese Buddhism, 8th April marks the birth of the Buddha, 8th December his enlightenment and 15th February his death."
