An excellent resource for flags of all nations.  Includes a world fact book with maps, and basic information on the countries  (e.g. geography, people, government, economy, transportation, communcation, defense, etc.)

World Flag Database

Each page contains basic information on the country, including its formal name, capital city, area, population, currency, language and religons as well as the current flag.  Includes a “Flags from history” section and links to other flag sites.

Country reports

Includes national anthems, flags, maps of nations of world, weather and news stories from around the world.

Quick Maps of the World

Provides small maps of the world’s countries.  Includes links to flags and economic information.  Some specialized maps available  (e.g. geographic, climatic, population).

World Gazetteer

Provides current population figures for cities, towns, and places of all countries.  Includes national flags.  Countries are arranged alphabetically, or can be browsed by continent.  Links to related sites.
