Career Development Programs
Career development is one of the three major goals of the BC education system. The aim of career development is to prepare students to attain their career and occupational objectives.
Career Development Programs are an effective tool to help students focus on, and prepare for, their career objectives. Ministry data shows that students who participate in a Career Development Program have significantly higher graduation rates than students who do not participate. Richmond School District is working on the design of innovative new Career Development Programs that meet the needs of our students.
