Career Centres
Career Centres offer a variety of services to students:

Career & Post Secondary Explorations
Through the use of interest and personality style inventories such as CAREER CRUISING™, students are able to explore options compatible with their profiles. CAREER CRUISING™ is a computer program that involves students in an interactive process that builds self-knowledge, encourages them to explore occupations and post-secondary institutions, and helps them plan for the future. After answering questions regarding interests and preferences, students will receive a printout of occupations they may wish to pursue. Students can investigate specific careers by printing job descriptions that include educational requirements, employment potential, starting salary and working conditions. Post-secondary institutions and training centres can be examined in a similar fashion. The Career Information Advisor will set appointments for interested grade 10 through 12 students.

Scholarship Information
Career Information Advisors maintain information about available scholarships and will assist students by providing information and application forms for scholarships available to them in the areas of athletics, fine arts, community service as well as from post secondary institutions. Scholarship information is available through the CC News link above.

College, University, and other Post Secondary Information
Career Information Advisors can provide information about admission requirements, entrance tests, tuition fees, programs offered, and application for admission.
