• we believe field trips offer good experiences towards learning and providing motivation and interest in a subject
• grade 10 travels to the world renowned Bamfield Marine Science Centre on Vancouver Island every fall to perform experiments that cannot be done in the classroom (fundraising is encouraged). Several students have decided to continue studies in marine biology at university as a result of this challenging and motivating experience.
• grade 8 visits Playland Physics day at the PNE to perform physics experiments in a fun environment
• other trips for the whole school have included IMAX theatre, BC Science Centre, fine arts performances at the Gateway theatre and other high schools, lunch in a French restaurant, and a tour of a bird sanctuary
