Technology Overview
The goal of term one will be for the students to demonstrate how technology can be used as a useful tool to enhance the in-class curriculum. Ultimately, the students will be able to confidently seek out and use a variety of applications to enhance their learning.
We will use the following computer hardware: desktop computers, digital still cameras, digital movie cameras, data projectors, and wireless laptop computers.
Some software examples will include: the use of search engines for Internet research, working with a number of digital imagery and Media Arts presentation tools such as: Keynote, iPhoto, and iMovie. We will learn how to use our own class email account to transfer data back and forth between home and school. We will work towards building our own webpages.
