Course Description:
This course will explore current ethical issues and perspectivesin the area of Deafblindness. It will also examine the impact of Deafblindnesson the individual’s life and on families.
CourseOutline:
· Explore personal values, ethics and professionalism
· Deafblindness and the impact on the individual
· Deafblindness and the impact on the family
· Boundaries
· Social concerns, socialization and integration
· Advocacy
· The grieving process
Course Prerequisite:
Introduction to Deafblindness & Introduction to Intervention

Due to the nature of this course, it is necessary to limit class size to 24.
